We have recently been awarded a prestigious grounds maintenance contract with Housing Hartlepool, a recent housing stock transfer, and we will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the green space and landscaping on sheltered housing schemes and communal / general open spaces close to housing stock.
The contract is due to commence on the 1 August 2008 and we are now seeking to recruit a new team of highly skilled staff who will be responsible for the delivery of high quality grounds maintenance services to this very important provider of social housing. Our approach to delivery will be a clear focus on the provision of a quality garden maintenance service, working closely with Housing Hartlepool staff and tenants.
Skills / Qualifications
The Contract Supervisor will be responsible for the co-ordination of grounds maintenance programmes for the contract, liaison with our customer, quality control, on-site training and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking and progressive individual who is able to develop strong client relationships by providing high quality grounds maintenance services. Applicants should have previous supervisory experience in the grounds maintenance industry, and ideally possess a horticulture qualification and have budget holding capabilities. Previous experience of soft landscaping including shrub planting, seeding and turfing would be an advantage, as some schemes require renovation works carrying out on shrub beds and grass areas.

Skills / Qualifications
Team Leaders and skilled grounds-care staff are required to maintain a range of landscaped features including formal lawns and gardens to sheltered housing units, shrub planting, maintenance of hard surfaces, informal features and environmental areas.
Previous experience of maintaining landscaped features to a very high quality together with a PA1/PA6a, driving licence and horticulture qualification are desirable.

We have recently been awarded this prestigious and much sought after landscape maintenance contract at Manchester Airport and we will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the landside green space and interior plant displays.
The contract is due to commence on the 1 September 2008 and we are now seeking to recruit a new team of highly skilled staff who will be responsible for the delivery of high quality grounds maintenance and interior landscaping services to this important gateway facilility.
Skills / Qualifications
Skilled Interior Plant Display Technicians are required to maintain the internal plant displays throughout the terminals, Sky Links and various offices. Previous experience of maintaining interior plants in a healthy condition, treating plants for pest and disease and replacement planting is desirable. Access to airside is required, and staff will be required to be CRB checked.
